It seems like there's an issue with the tpf-conferences-1MG3g29oj+***@public.gmane.org
email address. Can anyone confirm this?
Karen,
Is there anything we can do to help out the Freshwater Perl Workshop?
Thanks!

I wrote to the link at http://www.yapc.org/workshops.html,but it doesn't
work any more, as shown below, so you might want to make the address work or
update the page. Also, as you know, we're trying to organize an event, but I
wonder how TPF charitable status works across the border.

We're organizing a perl workshop along the lines of Frozen Perl, Perl
Oasis, Pittsburgh perl Workshop to be held April 2, 2011.
While we haven't had a vote, I think we're interested in level 2 or level 3
support, as described on http://www.yapc.org/workshops.html, but there's a
border in the way. .
I guess US supporters can make a donation to TPF, and TPF can decide to
provide us with a grant in that amount. How about Canadian companies,
Canadian individuals?
Cheers
